Daisy Guest Bath

The Details

The owners of this house moved to Columbus, far away from friends and family. So, of course, they needed a guest bath to impress! In keeping with the home’s historic character, we brightened and freshened by layering in traditional touches, like the daisy tile and shaker cabinet doors.

Statement paint + shower curtain
Paint is a great way to gold bold with low risk; you can always change it to refresh the look of any room. The same goes for the shower curtain. But, we love these playful, curvilinear patterns –they liven the room and their organic material and nature print exude a whimsical vibe.

Traditional elements
Mosaic, daisy hex tile keeps in the historic feel of the home, as do the cabinets with traditional shaker doors.

Cafe-style drapes
Punctuated by chunky hardware, these are perfect for letting in natural light while providing privacy.
