The Details
This Boho Luxe Bedroom folds seamlessly into the Oak Street Project. Reflecting the taste of this young, whimsical couple (with a fabulous art collection) we added bold colors, patterns and vintage finds for a truly authentic feel.
The Rug
Vintage and hand-knotted wool, this rug is Swoon-sourced and one-of-a-kind. Named after its place of origin, as many rugs are, its pattern is called a Heriz, a region in Iran. Rugs like this mellow with time and their colors become even more attractive… and they are woven to last!
Monotone Layers
With pattern and striking colors at play, natural fiber monotone layers combine for a clean, peaceful look: bamboo fiber, a chunky throw blanket and cane-woven into the nightstand fronts.
The Wall Tapestry
This piece works well because it’s bold and monochromatic; making it a focal point, not a distraction.
The Chair
Like in the Oak Street living room, we used a pop of pine green in a distinct texture to create contrast with the pattern-full decorative elements.
